Experience the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis on our Northern Lights tour in Iceland. This natural phenomenon, where vivid colors dance across the Arctic sky, is something you simply have to see with your own eyes.

Our small group Northern Lights tour is carefully designed to give you the best chance of witnessing this breathtaking display in the most comfortable and enjoyable way possible. With a maximum of 19 guests per tour, you'll enjoy a personal and intimate experience as we venture into the Icelandic countryside.

How Our Northern Lights Tour Works

Every evening, our team closely monitors the Aurora forecast, including solar activity and cloud coverage predictions. Since witnessing the Northern Lights depends on the right conditions—clear skies and sufficient solar activity—we only head out when conditions are promising. Once we determine the best viewing location based on the forecast, we set off in comfortable Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibuses.

Our experienced guides carefully select the best viewing spots, whether it be an isolated lava field, a tranquil lake, or an open valley surrounded by mountains. If conditions change, we remain flexible and adapt our route to maximize your chances of seeing the auroras.

The Moment of Magic

Once the green veil of the auroras appears in the sky, we stop and let you marvel at the dazzling spectacle. Wrap yourself in a warm Icelandic wool blanket, breathe in the fresh Arctic air, and watch the lights dance across the sky. To make the experience even more special, we serve steaming hot chocolate and traditional Icelandic pastries known as "kleinur"—a sweet and comforting treat perfect for a winter evening in Iceland.

Free Return Promise

If the Northern Lights do not appear during your tour, don't worry! We offer a free reattempt, allowing you to join us again on another night at no additional cost (subject to availability).
