Brace yourself for a wild day through Iceland’s most iconic sights without the tourist bus crowds. Join us on a Golden Circle Super Jeep Tour that combines raw nature, thrilling snowmobiling, and unmatched comfort.
We’ll hit the must-sees: Þingvellir, where tectonic plates drift apart, the explosive Geysir geothermal area, and Gullfoss, the roaring waterfall that never fails to impress. From there, it’s straight to the Langjökull Glacier where you’ll suit up for a snowmobile ride across Iceland’s icy highlands.
Our Super Jeeps are built for this, ready to tackle rugged routes so you can sit back and enjoy the ride. Cap it all off with a cozy stop at the Gullfoss Café and book your seat now with Golden Circle Day Tours.
Duration: 1 hour
Our adventure starts at Þingvellir National Park, one of Iceland’s most important cultural and geological landmarks. This is where the country’s first parliament was formed over a thousand years ago in AD 930.
Today, Þingvellir remains a symbol of Icelandic identity and democracy. As we walk through the park, you’ll see where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly pull apart, creating deep cracks and dramatic ridges in the earth.
It’s one of the few places in the world where this rift is visible on land. The surroundings are peaceful yet powerful, shaped by volcanic forces and ancient history.

Next, we travel inland in our Super Jeeps to the Geysir geothermal area. This is one of the most active hot spring regions in Iceland.
The steam rises from the ground, mud pots bubble, and geysers shoot boiling water into the air every few minutes. The star of the show is Strokkur, a geyser that erupts regularly, reaching heights of up to 20 meters.
The area smells of sulfur and feels alive beneath your feet, with every hissing vent and gurgling spring reminding you that Iceland is a volcanic island. Make sure to have your camera ready and keep your rain jacket close, and if the wind shifts, you could end up with an unexpected shower.

From the geothermal heat, we head to the icy spray of Gullfoss Waterfall. This two-tiered waterfall is fed by meltwater from Langjökull Glacier and crashes down into a deep canyon carved by the Hvítá River.
The sound is thunderous, and the mist can be felt from a distance. On sunny days, the spray creates vibrant rainbows that stretch across the falls, adding even more beauty to the scene.
Walking the paths along the cliff edge gives you multiple angles to appreciate its raw force. Gullfoss isn’t just a waterfall; it’s a reminder of how water, time, and ice have shaped Iceland’s landscape.
Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours, including transfer and prep time
The final stop brings us to the vast Langjökull Glacier, Iceland’s second-largest. Here, we switch from Super Jeeps to snowmobiles and gear up for a ride across wide, open snowfields.
With mountains in the distance and nothing but white around you, the experience feels like being on another planet. The snowmobile ride lasts around an hour and offers an entirely different view of Iceland’s natural beauty.
All helmets are provided, and those driving must bring a valid license. Kids between 7 and 16 can ride as passengers, and for solo riders, single snowmobiles are available for an extra fee.
After the ride, warm up at the Gullfoss Café and soak in the experience over a hot drink or bite before heading back to Reykjavik.
