1. Booking & Payment

All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment, which is taken securely inside the Bókun booking widget at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards. Golden Circle Day Tours does not process or store your card details. Prices are shown in Icelandic krónur (ISK), and the final amount is displayed before you confirm your booking. VAT is included where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

2. Cancellation Policy

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by Golden Circle Day Tours due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control, guests will receive a full refund or the option to rebook.

3. Changes to Bookings

Changes to bookings (date, tour type, number of guests) can be made up to 48 hours before departure, subject to availability. Changes requested within 48 hours of departure may incur an administration fee.

4. Weather & Road Conditions

Iceland's weather can be unpredictable. We reserve the right to modify or cancel tours due to severe weather conditions, road closures, or other safety concerns. In such cases, guests will be offered a full refund or alternative tour date. We follow the guidance of the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (road.is) and SafeTravel Iceland regarding road and weather conditions.

5. Health & Safety

All guests must follow the safety instructions of their guide at all times. Guests with medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in tour activities must disclose these at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any guest whose health or behavior poses a risk to themselves or others.

6. Liability

Golden Circle Day Tours carries comprehensive public liability insurance. However, we are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, road conditions, or the actions of third parties. Guests participate in all activities at their own risk.

7. Photography & Media

We may photograph or film tours for marketing purposes. By booking a tour, you consent to your image being used in our marketing materials. If you do not consent, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.

8. Complaints

If you have a complaint about your tour, please raise it with your guide at the time or contact us at info@goldencircledaytours.is within 7 days of your tour. We take all complaints seriously and aim to resolve them within 14 days.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts.
