### Do I need to know how to swim?

Basic swimming ability is required. You must also be comfortable in water and able to float in a drysuit.

### How cold is the water in Silfra?

The water temperature is 2-4°C (35-39°F) year-round. You will wear a drysuit and thermal undergarments to stay warm.

### What is the minimum age for snorkeling?

Participants must be at least 14 years old and meet height and weight requirements for the drysuit.

### What is included at Friðheimar?

You will tour the geothermal greenhouse and learn about sustainable tomato cultivation. Lunch can be purchased on-site if desired.

### Can I wear contact lenses while snorkeling?

Yes, but we recommend disposable lenses in case water enters the mask. Prescription masks are not available.
